Here is a quick blurb about the possibles roles for the DCP
Bell Services Dispatch/Greeter – Hotel bellhop who handles luggage
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Hostess – Styling little girls' hair in the BBB, usually reserved for people with cosmetology experience
Character Attendant – The CM who escorts characters and runs the meet-and-greets
Character Performer - This one you have to audition for (obviously)
Concierge / Front Desk - Serves hotel guests requests / check hotel guests in and out
Costuming – You sign out, check in, and wash CM uniforms (which sometimes includes Entertainment). Since everything is backstage, the Cast Members are your guests.
Custodial - Sweeping, emptying trash, and maintaining bathrooms, but you work independently and have tons of guest interaction
Full Service Food and Beverage (FSFB) – Working in restaurants with table service (i.e. waiters), most likely as a host / hostess
Hopper – Switching between multiple roles in different parks, it is very rare for CPs to get this role
Hospitality – Reserved for hospitality majors to do whatever hotel work hospitality majors do
Housekeeping – Cleaning hotel rooms
Lifeguard - You do not need to be previously certified, Disney will certify you when you get there, you will have to pass their certification regardless if you are certified or not
Main Entrance Operations – Front gates, stroller and wheelchair rental, lost and found
Merchandise – Stores and t-shirt/hat/pins carts
PhotoPass Photographer - Take pictures of guests in parks and restaurants
Quick Service Food and Beverage (QSFB) – Working in restaurants without waiters, as well as outdoor food carts (ODF)
Recreation – Children's activities at hotels, boat, bike, etc renting at hotels, basically covers all recreational things to do at the hotels
Transportation – Driving buses, monorails, working in the parking lots
Vacation Planner - Sell park tickets / annual passes, as well as deal with any problems that occur with them
